Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2002 is an impassioned wine of a deliberate intensity.
The deep, dense pink color presages a seductive and elegant wine.
The year 2002 was very special because it alternated periods of hard frost and heat waves. Even though part of the grapes was destroyed, the 2002 vintage has been a huge success for red wines, as the weather held enough to produce wine with exceptional strength.
This champagne is a delicate blend of 41% of Pinot Noir, 39% of Chardonnay and 21% of Pinot Meunier.
Grand Vintage Rosé 2002 is a wine of intensity with notes of blood orange, black cherry, blueberries and a subtle floral tinge.
Delightful salmon-pinkish in colour, the mousse is light and persistent. A wonderful combination for an assertive, mature vintage with tangy accents.
The final note is deliciously astringent with precision and crispness.
A generous Grand Vin from a glorious solar vintage!
