Maurice Vesselle's Bouzy Rouge is a red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes grown on the Grand Cru terroir of the village of Bouzy.
Bouzy is a village renowned for its Pinot Noirs. Many top houses buy grapes here to make their Champagne rosé.
This red wine is made by maceration of the grapes, then vinified in oak barrels.
This red wine, from the 2004 vintage, is dark in color, with discreet highlights. On the nose, it offers notes of fresh fruit with kirsch, followed by compote and jam. On the palate, we discover aromas of blood orange. The palate is elegant and silky, thanks to its mellow tannins.
A red wine reminiscent of the great red Burgundies.
