Les Echansons 2008 Mailly Grand Cru is a blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay. It's a cuvée that's only made during the very best vintages. The cellar master selects the most elegant Chardonnays and the most powerful, racy Pinot Noirs.
This is a champagne with an intense golden color and numerous fine bubbles.
Les Echansons 2008 reveals a nose reminiscent of citrus fruits, candied zests and a hint of pastry. On the second nose, spicy aromas emerge.
On the palate, this is a rich, silky cuvée, revealing powerful aromatic notes, contrasting with a finish that underlines the minerality of the Mailly terroir.
