Champagne Louise Brison 's Cuvée Rosé de la Côte des Bar 2018 is a maceration rosé made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes. Aged in oak barrels and not dosed(Brut Nature), this champagne reveals an intense aromatic palette and beautiful complexity.
This champagne is produced using a short maceration process, a technique that gives it its color and aromatic intensity. Composed of 100% Pinot Noir from the Côte des Bar, it expresses all the richness of this clay-limestone terroir. Ageing in oak barrels gives it a silky texture and subtle woody nuances. Finally, its Brut Nature status highlights the pure expression of the grape, with no added sugar.
2018 was an exceptional year in Champagne, with warm, sunny weather. This vintage enabled optimum ripening of the Pinot Noir grape, delivering a powerful, structured Champagne with rich red fruit aromas.
This champagne has a bright, luminous color, with deep, intense pink highlights. Its brilliance catches the light, heralding a beautiful concentration of aromas.
The nose seduces with its fruity intensity. Aromas of Morello cherries, ripe strawberries and prunes are accompanied by a hint of spice and subtle notes of roasting due to barrel ageing.
On the palate, the attack is both fresh and ample, revealing a fine tension that balances the greediness of the fruit. Notes of candied red fruit dominate, supported by a vinous structure that brings relief. The texture is elegant, with good aromatic persistence and a long, savory finish, marked by lightly woody touches and fine minerality.
