Maison Louise Brison's Chardonnay de la Côte des Bar 2015 is a complex, highly expressive champagne.

Maison Louise Brison, headed by Delphine Brulez, only produces vintage wines. These vintages are only offered for tasting after at least 6 years' ageing in the Maison's own cellars.

The Chardonnays for this cuvée come from the House's own parcels, mainly located in the Noé-Les-Mallets terroir, in the Aube region. This is a very different terroir from that of the Marne. Here, we're closer to the terroirs of Chablis, with clay-limestone soils providing a generous, racy aromatic signature.

Vinified and aged in wood for around 9 months on lees, the cuvée takes its time to develop its complexity.

This cuvée has a golden color with brilliant, crystalline reflections, and its fine, regular bubbles form an attractive cordon.

The expressive nose reveals delicate citrus and yellow fruit aromas.

The palate is just as complex as the nose, with a fine structure and a precise, delicate, gourmet body. The finish is saline and long.

This Champagne Chardonnay de la Côte des Bar from Maison Louise Brison is ideal as an aperitif with fish-based savory appetizers, or at the table with seafood or white meat.
