This vineyard is located in the area known as "Bourron du Levant", as it is a parcel that faces east and therefore sees the first rays of the sun early in the morning. This exposure produces rich, powerful grapes.
Les Vieilles Vignes du Levant Larmandier-Bernier is vinified in barrels and foudres. The wines are aged on natural lees for the first year, with light stirring of the lees, without filtration or fining.
Each bottle is hand-disgorged 6 months before release, and dosed extra-brut (2g/l), a very light dosage to let the wine's balance and length express themselves to the full.
This is a champagne of great elegance, expressive and warm, with a silky mouthfeel. Its aromas linger for long seconds on the palate.
