Larmandier-Bernier's Terre de Vertus cuvée is one of the first plot-based cuvées produced in Champagne. Pierre Larmandier decided to create a special cuvée from these grapes, which express the extraordinary minerality, finesse and complexity of the Vertus terroir.
Pierre Larmandier's desire was to make a wine without artifice, one that best expressed its terroir, and this is how he came up with the Terre de Vertus cuvée. Aged on the lees in tuns for a year, with light stirring, without filtration or fining, this Blanc de Blancs champagne is not dosed, to let the wine express itself fully.
Cuvée Terre de Vertus 2010 is a model of finesse and elegance, expressed with a hint of salinity and a tonic finish.
