Krug
Vintage 1996 | Magnum 150cl
Krug Vintage 1996 is the last vintage to be blended by three generations of the Krug family: Paul, Henri and Rémi, and Olivier. The latter will never forget his grandfather's reaction when he first tasted the year's freshly fermented wines: "Throughout his life, my grandfather avoided any form of exaggeration, but this time he looked at us and said, 'I think this could well be the next 1928'".

The nose reveals notes of red and white fruits, a touch of spice and more gourmand, toasty aromas.
On the palate, the attack is fresh and round. Fruity, acidic notes on the palate.
A cuvée of magnificent refinement. Pure class!
