      Description

The Côte à Bras 2015 from Maison Joseph Perrier is an atypical cuvée in Champagne. It is a cuvée of a single grape variety, a single plot, and a single year. It is made from Pinot Noir from the La Côte à Bras plot located in Cumières.

The year 2015 saw a hot and dry summer, followed by rain at the end of the summer. But the pinot noirs held up well with a level of maturity that produced rich, full-bodied, and structured wines.

The grapes are pressed and vinified separately, before aging for a minimum of 6 years in the cellars of the Maison in Châlons-en-Champagne.

This Blanc de Noirs champagne has a deep golden yellow color.

The bouquet is composed of exhilarating and gourmet aromas of bergamot, candied orange, and syrupy fruits.

On the palate, the attack is fresh and chiseled. The pinot noir fully expresses itself through aromas of heather honey and its intense fruity notes envelop the palate. The finish is mineral and iodized.

The Côte à Bras 2015 will be perfect as an aperitif with a strong personality but can also be served with a langoustine papillon and its mesclun chiffonnade or a roasted blue lobster, lightly peppered, grapefruit coulis, and white butter.

« Since 2007, my father had the original idea of working this plot in an exceptional way: one plot, one grape variety, one year, one wine. This cuvée is the expression of the Pinot Noir from Cumières, fresh and salty. » Benjamin Fourmon, General Manager of the Maison, 6th generation.
