Cuvée Grande Réserve 1864 from Jean Milan is a champagne made from a blend of wines around ten years old, vinified in oak barrels using the old-fashioned method.
This cuvée is then aged for a long time to develop its aromas, which assert themselves with notes of fresh almond, vanilla and hazelnut.
It's an intense, complex, incomparable cuvée.
In its desire to reproduce the gestures of the ancients, Jean Milan has chosen to tie the cork by hand as in the old days.
