Tasting

By Patrick Borras

Robe

Janisson & Fils Grand Cru is a straw yellow champagne with golden glints and fine, discreet bubbles.

Nose

The nose is rich and complex, fruity and floral, with the fruitiness of white peaches and the floweriness of fragrances such as lime blossom followed up with lightly honey and beeswax aromas.

Palate

With its clean, fresh attack the palate develops a rich roundness accompanied by an agreeable level of acidity ensuring good length. Its aromas of dried fruits, and hazelnuts are rejoined by the honeyed and beeswax found on the nose.

Service

Grand Cru from Janisson & Fils can be served as an aperitif, with fish, or white meat dishes. It is a rich and complex champagne which will reveal its aromas at a temperature of between 9° and 10°C.
