Dizy Terres Rouges 2011 | Bottle 75cl
At the bottom of the Dizy hillside, Jacquesson operates a vineyard known as Terres Rouges, covering over 6 hectares, half of which is planted with Pinot Noir and half with Pinot Meunier. It's the color of the soil, reddish-brown, sitting on chalky loam, that gave this parcel its name.

2011 was marked by a cold, wet winter, a warm, dry spring and a pleasant summer. Jacquesson decided to de-stem and crush the entire harvest, followed by a short maceration for half the grapes and a simple run-off for the other half. Since the 2008 vintage, this cuvée has been an equal blend of rosé de saignée and direct-pressed rosé.
Although the color is a little less intense, the cuvée has gained in finesse, while retaining the distinctive character of Terres Rouges Rosé.
6,140 bottles and 250 magnums were produced.
