Dizy Terres Rouges Rosé 2008 | Bottle 75cl
At the bottom of the Dizy hillside, Jacquesson operates a vineyard known as Terres Rouges, covering over 6 hectares, half of which is planted with Pinot Noir and half with Pinot Meunier. It's the color of the soil, reddish-brown, sitting on chalky loam, that gave this parcel its name.

2008 was one of the most remarkable vintages of the last decade. Its potential was so great that Jacquesson decided to extend its ageing process by a year, compared with the usual practice.
The house has also changed the way it makes rosé, which is now a blend of equal parts bleeding rosé and direct-pressed rosé.
Although the color is a little less intense than in previous vintages, the cuvée has gained in finesse, while retaining the distinctive character of Terres Rouges Rosé.
