      Description

Available in magnum, Jacquesson's Cuvée Avize Champ Caïn 2004 is a very rare cuvée, produced only in the best vintages. It's a Blanc de Blancs champagne made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the Champ Caïn vineyard, a south-facing plot in Avize on limestone and chalk outcrops. 12,000 vines planted in 1962 populate this unique 1.30-hectare plot.

This superb 2004 vintage is sublimated in this cuvée produced in only 9012 bottles and 500 magnums.

Cuvée Avize Champ Caïn 2004 Jacquesson was vinified in oak tuns for 9 months before bottling. This champagne was then disgorged in February 2013. This is an Extra Brut cuvée, with a very light dosage of 1.5g/L.

Cuvée Avize Champ Cain 2004 is a magnificent cuvée that marries delicacy, purity and finesse. It is a mineral champagne, with a slight acidic touch of citrus and apple. The palate is straightforward, chalky and intense, always carried by this chiseled texture. A magnificent cuvée de terroir.

      A cuvée at its best!
