      Dizy Corne Bautray 2004 from Jacquesson is a distinctive Blanc de Blancs champagne made in limited quantities from Chardonnay grown on the parcel known as Corne Bautray, on south west facing slopes in the Grand Cru terroir of Dizy.

      Nine thousand vines planted in 1960 grow on this unique parcel of only 1 hectare.

      2004 is a superlative vintage, shown off to advantage in this cuvee of which only 4840 bottles and 300 magnums have been produced.

      Dizy Corne Bautray 2004 passed 9 months in large oak barrels before being bottled, and was disgorged in February 2013. It is a cuvee ‘Nature’, with absolutely no dosage.

      With extraordinary purity and elegance, and an unbelievably fine effervescence, the cuvée Dizy Corne Bautray 2004 offers chalky notes and dried fruit aromas, underlined by a magnificent mineral tension.

      The absence of dosage gives voice to the expressivity and the energy of this inspired cuvee.
