"While we are die-hard advocates of blending "different terroirs" to achieve greater complexity and balance... While with 12 hectares of grand cru, we have never made a pure "grand cru" Special Club, as we always add a little "Cuis 1er cru" bringing the freshness that is essential to our style... We have decided to create several "Special Club" cuvées from the 2012 vintage...:
- Our "Grands Terroirs de Chardonnay" blend
- And several "Mono-Terroir Grand Cru" cuvées, in limited quantities.The Spécial Club Oger Grand Cru 2012 is the 1st cuvée to be marketed, as its natural power and mineral expression, "smokier" than our usual blends, encourages us to offer it now".
