      Description

      Le Gastronome 2015 Pierre Gimonnet is a cuvée specially designed for Michelin-starred restaurants. It's a champagne elaborated in petite mousse, i.e. with a particularly fine effervescence so as not to disturb the palate or taste buds before a gastronomic meal.

      Cuvée Gastronome is a Blanc de Blancs champagne with a focus on freshness and liveliness. It's a blend of 51% Chardonnays from the Grand Cru terroir of Chouilly, for fruit and elegance, 18% Chardonnays from the Grand Cru terroir of Cramant for roundness, 5% Chardonnays from Oger, a village also classified as Grand Cru, for a spicy touch, 1% Vertus, and finally 25% Chardonnays from the 1er Cru terroir of Cuis, responsible for the cuvée's fresh, lively signature.

      Gimonnet's Cuvée Gastronome 2015 is vinified as a cuvée to preserve the purity of the terroir. Malolactic fermentation is used to add a touch of roundness. Finally, the dosage is light, around 5g/l.

      Cuvée Gastronome 2015 is pale yellow in color. Its bubbles are of great finesse.

      On the nose, this elegant, fresh champagne evolves on notes of citrus fruit and white flowers. After a few moments, warmer, spicier notes emerge.

      On the palate, this is a cuvée with a fine attack, lively and straightforward, a cuvée that awakens the taste buds before sitting down to dinner!
