Description
Les Vieilles Vignes Blanc de Blancs is a champagne of mad intensity. It's a champagne that literally vibrates on the palate.
This cuvée is produced by Francis Boulard and his daughter Delphine, from chardonnays from an old vineyard, Le Murtet, located in the Massif de Saint-Thierry.
This cuvée, certified organic, is vinified on fine lees, in small oak barrels and foudre. It is a natural cuvée, i.e. with no added liqueur, to maximize the expression of terroir and grape varieties.
Les Vieilles Vignes Blanc de Blancs 2014 Francis Boulard offers a nose of white flowers and citrus fruit. On the palate, this is a cuvée of roundness and finesse, with a well-presented mineral freshness.
It's a champagne that's perfect with oysters or seafood.
