The Cuvée de Réserve from the house of Fabrice Pouillon is an aperitif champagne par excellence with its luscious and gourmand aromas.
Blended from 70% Pinot Noir, 15% Chardonnay and 15% Pinot Meunier, the Cuvée de Réserve is vinified in enamelled vats and in barrels, with the reserve wines being matured in a combination of small oak casks and large barrels.
This cuvee embodies the Pouillon style and the typicity of its terroirs, with grapes that are grown at Mareuil, Ecueil, Mutigny, Epernay and Festigny.
The Cuvée de Réserve shimmers with gold reflections lifted by fine and vivacious bubbles.
The nose develops a palette of aromas encompassing acacia, pine and hawthorn, with a touch of quince appearing on the second note underlined by dried fruit aromas.
The palate is perfectly balanced and elegant, opening incisively and developing notes of fresh almonds and yellow fruits to finish on delightfully honeyed notes.
