Drappier's Millésime d'Exception 2013 is a cuvée with a beautiful aromatic palette.
The Drappier estate is run according to the principles of sustainable viticulture raisonnée. Only juice from the first press is used for this cuvée. The wine is then partially (50%) vinified in oak barrels. Very little sulfur is used during vinification.
This champagne has a nose of crunchy fruit and dried fruit.
The palate is slightly creamy, with good tension and a hint of brioche. A floral touch testifies to the high proportion of Chardonnay, while the depth of Pinot Noir is expressed in the form of red fruit and pretty bitters.
This is a cuvée that will find a fine place as an aperitif, but also with noble fish dishes.
