Dom Pérignon's Vintage Rosé is a tribute to Pinot Noir, a grape variety that requires a great deal of humility to work well. Vintage Rosé is a perfect blend of youth and maturity, exhibition and restraint.
This Vintage Rosé 2005 offers a remarkable nose, evoking tropical notes (guava, curry leaf) mingling with a touch of citrus and stone fruit. On the second nose, notes of cocoa and spices emerge.
On the palate, this Vintage Rosé 2005 asserts itself through a beautiful vinosity, full of tonicity. The palate is rich and structured, with fruity notes. The finish is remarkable, combining a touch of licorice with pretty blood orange bitters.
For this limited edition, Dom Pérignon invited Japanese artist Tokujin Yoshioka to create an artistic tribute to Dom Pérignon. The artist was inspired by Dom Pérignon's words "I drink the stars" to imagine Prism. The work symbolizes champagne's robe, a living light that explodes into infinite colors, triggering waves of unique emotions.
Using light as both material and medium, Tokujin Yoshioka, whose unique creative style is characterized by its luminous nature and breathtaking purity, has worked with crystal prisms to project a vibrant spectrum reminiscent of the sun. This complex, elegant work is reflected in the boxes and labels of this limited edition.
