The Brut Rosé from Delamotte is rich and full of fruit. It is one of the rare champagnes to have been made by the traditional free-run method, which consists of allowing the grapes to macerate in order to extract colour and complexity from the skins.
This technique, which requires great skill, is more and more rarely practiced in Champagne, despite the fact that it produces elegant and structured wines.
The Delamotte Brut Rosé is intense deep salmon pink in colour, characteristic of free-run rosés.
The nose offers agreeable notes of yellow fleshed fruits, red fruits, supplemented with a touch of spice.
It is a champagne which is beautifully smooth, with an impressively orchestrated aromatic palette and a superb finish.
