Delamotte's Blanc de Blancs 2007 is a champagne that evolves under the sign of freshness and finesse.
The year 2007 was marked by a very mild winter, a particularly warm spring, and a cold, rainy summer, which ended with plenty of sunshine, allowing the grapes to ripen beautifully.
The Chardonnays are healthy, and offer an excellent balance between alcohol and acidity. The grapes come from Delamotte's 4 favorite terroirs: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Oger and Cramant.
The Delamotte Blanc de Blancs 2007 has a very pure nose, evocative of fresh flowers. Warming reveals the mint and pear notes characteristic of Chardonnay.
On the palate, notes of honey and citrus blend harmoniously.
A superb cuvée with excellent ageing potential.
