Description
Cuvée Maisoncelle 200 by Dehours is part of the Collection range, which highlights the house's great terroirs.
Maisoncelle is one of the house's few parcels planted with Pinot Noir. The vines are around fifty years old. Located mid-slope and facing northeast, on a clay-limestone soil with very little limestone and very high iron content, this parcel is 300 meters long. The vines at the bottom of the plot are chosen for this cuvée, as they bring an extra touch of complexity.
Cuvée Maisoncelle 2006 is vinified and aged in barrels.
A total of 1613 bottles were produced, cellared in June 2009 and disgorged in September 2017.
Maisoncelle 2008 has a beautiful golden color and fine bubbles.
On the nose, this cuvée evokes honey and white flowers.
On the palate, it's a powerful wine, with a hint of wood. The wine is rich, full-bodied and perfectly ripe, with the characteristic tension of the 2008 vintage.
