Description
Les Genevraux 2009 is one of Maison Dehours' Collection cuvées, a selection of Champagnes made from exceptional, unique plots of land, representing a facet of the Champagne terroir.
Les Genevraux is a champagne made exclusively from Pinot Meunier, the king of the Marne Valley grape varieties. Vinified and aged in oak, this is a champagne of immense complexity.
It's a rich, dense, warm champagne that can be served at the table or enjoyed on its own as an aperitif. Its fresh, fruity structure makes it a perfect match for poultry dishes in particular.
The Les Genevraux parcel is located on the Troissy terroir, and features an old Pinot Meunier vine planted in 1979.
Less than 2200 bottles have been produced to date.
