Founded in 1837, the champagne house De Venoge keeps rare slowly evolving cuvees and great vintages in its cellars to enable them to fully develop their extremely complex aromas.
And thus De Venoge have finally presented their vintage 1983 under the name « Cuvée 20 ans”. It is a champagne whose fruit and balance are absolutely remarkable. Ageing has not prevented this cuvee from affirming its freshness found also in its extremely fine bubbles.
This is an Extra Brut champagne, which means that no sugar has been added, and which reveals all the subtlety, complexity and attenuated acidity that have resulted from long years in the cellar.
Only 2000 bottles were produced of this remarkable cuvee which is presented in a superb wooden case.
