The Henri III Cuvée is a true icon of the R.H. Coutier estate. With its indulgent pastry aromas and generous structure, this 100% Pinot Noir Extra-Brut champagne is an ideal companion to accompany your meals. Complex and elegant, it is a champagne that will seduce connoisseurs looking for a characterful champagne.
The Henri III Cuvée is made exclusively from Pinot Noir, the emblematic grape variety of the Ambonnay terroir, classified as Grand Cru. This blend combines 60% of the 2015 harvest and 40% of the 2014 harvest, the latter having benefited from one year of aging in oak barrels. Malolactic fermentation is deliberately avoided to preserve a vibrant freshness. The champagne rests on lees in the bottle for at least 8 years, with a limited release of 3000 bottles. With a precise dosage of 4 g/l, this Extra-Brut cuvée expresses the quintessence of Pinot Noir in all its richness and balance.
Created in 1995 by René Coutier, the Henri III Cuvée reflects a unique philosophy: offering a meal champagne that combines power and finesse. This style is characterized by the pure expression of Pinot Noir, enhanced by controlled aging and long maturation.
The Henri III Cuvée is adorned with a golden robe with brilliant reflections. It is enhanced by a fine and persistent effervescence.
Its nose is complex. It opens with toasted notes and aromas of pastry (brioche, raisin bread), then evolves towards notes of compoted white fruits such as apple, pear, and plum.
The palate is fresh and powerful, offering great aromatic complexity. Notes of barrel, toasted, and compoted fruits blossom in a creamy and unctuous texture. The finish, long and balanced, is supported by a refreshing acidity that brings beautiful freshness.
The price of the Henri III Cuvée R.H. Coutier bottle is 58,95 €. This price reflects the rarity and complexity of this cuvée, produced in only 3000 bottles. The care taken at each stage of its production, from the selection of the grapes to the meticulous aging, guarantees exceptional quality.
Connoisseurs particularly appreciate the unctuous texture and great aromatic complexity of this cuvée. The freshness and length in the mouth make it an essential reference for accompanying gastronomic meals. Discover the feedback: Reviews of the Henri III Cuvée R.H. Coutier.
To preserve its rich aromas and finesse, store the bottle in a cool place, lying down, away from light, at a constant temperature of 10-12°C. Thanks to its long aging and structure, this champagne can be kept until 2030 while gaining in complexity.
The R.H. Coutier estate has embodied a philosophy respectful of nature and terroir for five generations. With know-how passed down from father to son, this family estate in Ambonnay produces unique champagnes, blending tradition and innovation. Under the impetus of Antoine Coutier, the cuvées continue to surprise with their precision and elegance.
