Blanc des Millénaires 1995, the prestige cuvee from Charles Heidsieck, is a Blanc de Blancs made exclusively from Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs, a terroir classed Grand Cru, the most prestigious of all the Champagne appellations for Chardonnay.

Its robe of clear pale gold is illuminated by soft green glints. Its effervescence is generous, intense and gracious.

Charles Heidsieck Blanc des Millénaires 1995 opens with richly vegetal aromas of fern, tea and lime blossom, followed by more floral tones of jasmine, honeysuckle and narcissus.

The complexity of the nose then intensifies with buttery, brioche notes and a touch of spice (cinnamon, vanilla).

The first palate is delicate, fresh, followed with aromas of yellow fruits, hazelnut and almond.

The mouth is rich, full and silky with good persistence, finishing on notes of greengage and black tea.
