Elegant and committed, Champagne Canard-Duchêne's Cuvée P181 embodies the House's pioneering spirit in organic viticulture. Produced in part from a parcel that has been certified organic since 2009, this Extra-Brut expresses the purity of Champagne's rich terroir and the House's expertise.
Cuvée P181 takes its name from parcel ZE 181 in Verneuil, one of the few organic vineyards in Champagne since 2009. On this 9-hectare plot, the vines are cultivated with respect for the soil and the plant, according to the principles of organic farming. This cuvée highlights the diversity of Champagne grape varieties in a well-balanced blend:
The cuvée is based on a blend of 30% reserve wines, which enrich the blend to ensure complexity. The whole is aged for 3 years in the cellar before disgorging, with dosage measured at 4 g/L to preserve the purity of the fruit.
P181 is a brilliant pale gold, with a fine, persistent effervescence.
The nose is expressive and charming, dominated by yellow and white fruits such as lychee, peach and pear. A touch ofgreen almond and a hint of smoke add an extra dimension.
On the palate, the attack is lively and invigorating. Fruity freshness of apple and pear, with a tighter finish marked by a fine, elegant bitterness that prolongs the tasting experience.
The price of a bottle of Champagne P181 is 39,95 €. It reflects the quality of an organic champagne, precise and authentic, at once pure, structured and aromatic.
Committed champagne lovers hail this cuvée for its precision, freshness and natural aromatic expression. It seduces with its mineral dimension and vitality on the palate. Read the reviews of cuvée P181.
