Description

The 2013 harvest was so unusual that Bollinger decided to make a special cuvée. This is a champagne that is both fresh and delicious.

The year 2013 was indeed marked by singular climatic conditions: a very long, cold and snowy winter, followed by a rainy and gray spring. A very sunny summer allowed the grapes to ripen beautifully. The harvest began at the end of September, something we hadn't seen in Champagne for some fifteen years.

These conditions, unusual on such a short timescale but in fact borrowing from a certain classicism, led Bollinger to produce a limited edition: B13 for Bollinger 2013.

This 2013 vintage is therefore characterized by a beautiful freshness, but also fruity aromas. There are notes of citrus and yellow fruit. More gourmet aromas of tarte tatin and fresh almond also stand out.

B13 by Bollinger is a taut, mineral, chiselled champagne.
