Description
Billecart-Salmon's Brut Réserve was voted "Best Brut in the World" by the renowned Decanter guide.
Presented here, the Brut Réserve Billecart-Salmon is a round, harmonious and well-balanced champagne. Its blend, unchanged since 1945, is composed of grapes from three different years: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, from the best terroirs in the Marne region.
Drawing on long-established traditions, such as the vinification of grands crus in barrels, the house ages its bottles in an extensive network of 17th- and 19th-century chalk cellars. The temperature is constant, around 12°C, enabling the production of fine bubbles.
Billecart-Salmon's Brut Réserve has a straw-yellow color, distinguished by its fine, slow-rising bubbles and persistent mousse.
On the nose, this cuvée displays a beautiful maturity tinged with floral freshness, with aromas of ripe pear.
On the palate, the attack is vinous and full-bodied, followed by a lovely freshness, with a rich bouquet that bears witness to the aging of this cuvée in the House's traditional cellars.
