Cuvée Les Epinettes 2019 is a single-vineyard, plot-based, vintage champagne that nicely balances power with finesse, promising tasty pairings with characterful dishes.

This Blanc de Noirs is made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes from the 2019 harvest. The grapes come from the "Les Epinettes" plot, located in Verzy on the Montagne de Reims. The Verzy terroir is renowned for its chalky soil, which brings a lot of freshness and minerality to the grapes.

The 2019 vintage is one of the finest in Champagne, with an almost idyllic season and superb grapes and moderate yields at harvest, offering a beautiful concentration of aromas.

Vinification and ageing on lees take place in barrel. After disgorging, the wine is dosed as Extra-Brut (0.8g/L) to preserve the personality of the Verzy terroir.

Les Epinettes 2019 Adrien Renoir is golden in color. The nose is powerful and rich, with notes of red fruits and dried fruits such as walnuts and almonds.

The palate is greedy but counterbalanced by a mid-palate minerality before a slightly saline finish. A beautiful champagne, perfectly balancing power and finesse.

The great complexity of Adrien Renoir's 2019 Cuvée Les Epinettes will be appreciated at the table with stuffed capon or roast poultry.
