Cuvée Les 2 Terroirs, created by Adrien Renoir, is a rosé champagne expressing beautiful fruity and spicy notes.
This rosé blend is composed of 95% Pinot Noir from Verzy and 5% Vins Rouge from Verzenay. The Verzy terroir is renowned for its chalky soil, which brings freshness and minerality to the grapes.
The blend is based on a majority of wines from the 2019 harvest, a very fine vintage. This wine from the 2019 harvest is complemented by reserve wines that perpetuate the estate's identity.
Vinification and aging on lees take place in barrel. After disgorging, the wine is dosed at 2.4 g/L Extra-Brut to preserve the identity of its terroirs.
The nose offers aromas of sweet red fruit, tangerine, bergamot, spices and peony.
On the palate, Les 2 Terroirs is full-bodied, mellow and precise, with a lively spine of acidity, fine bubbles and a penetrating base, and a very chalky, intensely sapid finish. This taut, dry champagne is a fine interpretation of Verzy's rosé blends.
