The union of Albert Lancelot and Brigitte Pienne gave birth to the Lancelot-Pienne brand. In 1967, the combination of their respective vineyards allowed the development of the estate located on the terroirs of the Côte des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. Their son, Gilles Lancelot, an oenologist by profession, took over the estate in 2005 and continues the family history. Today, he cultivates 8.5 hectares of vines across more than 60 plots with the utmost respect for the land and its environment. The Lancelot-Pienne Estate has thus obtained the highest level of the Haute Valeur Environnementale certificate awarded by the Ministry of Agriculture.
Lancelot-Pienne champagnes are "author's wines," perfect reflections of their terroir. The Table Ronde cuvée is the House's calling card. A 100% Chardonnay made from grapes from the Grand Cru terroirs of the Côte des Blancs. A champagne with soul, generous and rare. The Marie Lancelot cuvée embodies excellence and all the House's know-how! It represents, as Gilles Lancelot likes to say, "Cramant in a bottle." It is composed of Chardonnay from 8 plots located on the Grand Cru terroir of Cramant with vines planted over 50 years ago on chalky soil.
